Italy falls apart with Berlusconi's bunga bunga parties

Italy slips further into default territory but Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi doesn't seem to care. In fact, he is getting worse.

In a nothing speech to the Italian parliament, Berlusconi blamed Italy's woes on speculators and slowing growth in the big economies but didn't offer any solutions on how he was going to drag Italy back from the edge. And while his country teeters on the edge, he keeps throwing his notorious "bunga bunga" parties.

The Daily Mail reports that "20 women were seen entering Berlusconi's villa at Arcore last Sunday in a fleet of cars with guests not leaving until 2am. The women are said to have 'used more caution' than normal when entering the villa so as not to attract attention although the identity of the women was not known."

Berlusconi is on trial for involvement with under-age prostitution.

Meanwhile his country is falling apart. The third largest economy in the Eurozone, Italy is facing a financial meltdown much the same as Greece. It has an estimated national debt which equates to 103.7 per cent
