The intrigue surrounding the BAE-Saudi bribery scandal continues with the Financial Times reporting that a third man, BAE's business development director Alan Garwood has been issued with a subpoena by US authorities.

BAE chief executive Mike Turner and Sir Nigel Rudd, a BAE non-executive director, have already been issued with subpoenas but this one is particularly significant because it might shed light on the involvement of the British Government. Until last year, Garwood was working for the Ministry of Defence.
