Who is the youngest director in the US? And who is the oldest?

The Corporate Library has an interesting breakdown of the demographics of US boards. As a snapshot of corporate governance, US style, its worth looking at.

The Corporate Library's 2007 Governance Practices Report, published by Forbes, reveals that the average CEO is 58 years old and that the most common ownership structure is "principal shareholder," a company where one or more shareholders own at least 10 per cent of the entity. More than 300 of the 22,000 directors in the Corporate Library's database serve on four, five or six boards which does raise questions about the standards of governance at those companies. More than 300 companies combined the roles of CEO and chairman.

The youngest director, at 26, is ivanka trumplinks. Nor surprisingly, she works for her dad. The two oldest are 98 which is kinda scary.
