Bush backdating - all in the family

Towards the end of last year, I talked about the president's kid brother, Marvin, and stock option backdating. His little bro was a director of HCC Insurance Holdings at the time when it was backdating options. Worse still, he was on its compensation committee.

Now we have a news report that the president's uncle, William H.T. "Bucky" Bush, was one of the outside directors at defense contractor, Engineered Support Systems, who made about $6 million in unauthorised pay from an options backdating scheme. While not accused of any wrongdoing, they did benefit from stock links

options not approved by shareholders.

Wonder who's next?
