Conrad Black appeals again

The endless case of Conrad Black has moved into its latest phase, After the court rejected a plea to toss his conviction on fraud and lying about looting $6.1 million from his media empire, he is appealing again to get out of his prison cell in Florida.

According to this report, his lawyers have filed a 14-page rehearing petition, claiming the ruling was based on a "demonstrably mistaken view of the record". Black has a snowball's chance in hell of this succeeding, but he seems determined to keep spending money to clear his name.

And the big hint in this report is that his team wants him to be transferred to a British prison where he would have a better chance of getting early parolelinks. He is not going down without a fight.
