Conrad Black's Christmas presents
Conrad Black's self-delusion gets more bizarre by the day.

Just months before his fraud, racketeering and tax evasion trial is about to begin in Chicago, disgraced former media mogullinks Black is now giving special Christmas presents to what's left of his friends, reports Chicago Sun-Times gossip columnist Michael Sneed:

"The upshot: It's a T-shirt with Black's picture on the front above the words "CONRAD WILL WIN." Sneed hears Black signs the back of each shirt and inscribes a personal message to the recipient."

Don't know how much help that's going to be.

US District Judge Amy St. Eve has just rejected nine dismissal motions filed by Black and three other ex-Hollinger executives.

Roll on March 7 when the trial begins.
