Ethics

Non-Terminator scientists are now working on a code of ethics for robots as they become more sophisticated in their handling of data, reports The Sunday Times.
The Institute of Intelligent Systems for Automation is reportedly working on a guide to be published next month.
The areas it will cover will include protecting data acquired by robots, establishing clear lines of identification and traceability of machines and preventing illegal use.
Companies have enough trouble complying with their codes of ethics.
Wonder whether it would any better with cyborgs and androids, who according to the scientists in this report, will be around within the next 14 years?
