Executive compensation includes base salary, bonuses, stock option, signing bonus etc. Executive compensation covers employees such as CEO, CFO, Vice President and other upper level managers. Words are always making round that executive compensation is quite high.

Some feel that government should have a say in executive compensation but many feel that the shareholder and not the government should have a say in deciding their salaries but here is a twist to the story. The responsibility of the shareholder is to keep a watch on the CEO but now shareholders are no longer individuals but greedy corporations whose members receive a cut from the CEO for thinking in the opposite direction.

Very high salaries and humungous bonuses are never justified among the top echelons of the corporate world and a definite law needs to be passed to control them. They receive so much compensation that I don't feel they would need payday loans as we do to meet their emergency needs, after all their hands are always overflowing with cash.
