Some 12,000 Americans lose their laptops at airports every year, according to a Ponemon Institute study reported here.
Still, let's get it in context. The study was sponsored by Dell which is using these revelations to sell services that's supposed to help people protect their laptops and the data on them. More details of this offering here.

Did you know that prescription drug addiction is the fastest growing drug problem in the United States? I've read that it has a lot to do with the thousands of illicit pharmacies on the web. Not good. Not good at all.
