Weird days in the US justice system with former Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski and his chief numbers man Mark Swartz demanding that the New York State Court of Appeals throw out their convictions. This is someone who got an 8 to 25 year sentence for plundering shareholders of $400 million and looting $150 million in unauthorized bonuses. The minimum part is important and he's already done three years! And he still wants out.
They are drawing a long bow here, claiming that the lead prosecution witness shouldn't have been allowed to testify. And chances are the court will throw this one out.
Kozlowski is one of those types who believes he can do no wrong. That's why he used Tyco's money for lavish parties and furnishings for his Manhattan apartment, including a $6000 shower curtain and a $15,000 umbrella stand.

Kozlowski isn't as bad as you may think, compare to these CEO of banks and mortgage giants IMHO. Tyco still exist and the company is still running fine. why don't government arrests all these CEOs of big financial institution who ruined our economy for god sake!!
