First Siemens conviction

The first Siemens manager has been convicted in the trial into the engineering group's bribery and corruption, according to the latest news.

Reinhard Siekaczek (pictured above) has been given a hefty fine and a suspended sentence. This is really worrying news for business partners and Siemens' insiders who are worried that the company's growth prospects will be hit amid tougher economic times.

And if it continues and if more heads roll, you can bet there will be calls for some sort of amnesty
