Now I've heard everything. We have reports of a new kosher search engine called "koogle" developed in Israel that allows religious Jews to search the Net without compromising their religious standards. Koogle screens out such forbidden material as sexually explicit images or pictures of women deemed to be immodestly dressed. Also you are restricted on buying taboo items including television sets, which are banned in orthodox households.
I actually went to koogle and checked it out. I tried a few forbidden terms and got an error message every time. It seems that "pork" and "ham" have the same forbidden ranking as "sex.
Hey, here's an idea. Why don't they create an internet auction site? Call it OyBay.
Which got me thinking about other religions and faiths. Can't wait until the Vatican brings out their version.
