The former chief executive of Halliburton spin-off US construction firm KBR, Albert Stanley, is facing seven years in the slammer after pleading guilty to charges of corruption relating to Nigerian deals, according to news reports. But this case could extend deep into Dick Cheney's old company with The Wall Street Journal reporting that the case goes back beyond Nigeria and into the 1980s.
