It just goes to show that Rupert Murdoch will work with anyone. Even North Korea's Kim Jong Il.
Bloomberg reports that the North Korean leader has found an unlikely ally to help fund his impoverished regime. It reports that programmers from North Korea's General Federation of Science and Technology developed a 2007 mobile-phone bowling game based on the movie The Big Lebowski and on "Men in Black: Alien Assault." Both were developed by a unit of Murdoch's News Corporation.
Better trained programmers might also improve North Korea's cyber warfare capabilities but Fox Mobile's spokeswoman Juliane Walther is playing that down. She told Bloomberg that the company has "extensive partnerships with content producers in all areas, with operators, and with the biggest media companies worldwide, including various Asian companies."
Murdoch might support conservatives. He'll even fund the Tea Party. But then, he will do business with anyone that can make him money. Witness his attempts to work with China. Why should North Korea be any different?
