Push for BAE judicial inquiry

Earlier this month I did a blog entry on the continuing BAE shenanigans following the Blair Government decision to drop its probe into BAE's dubious dealings with saudi arabialinks.

The decision shows a complete lack of political will, says the Financial Times. But if Blair thought this would go away, he was dead wrong.

Now anti-arms groups are moving to have the decision reviewed and have put top-flight lawyers on to the case, according to a news report.

Significantly, the report mentions parallel proceedings arising from the discovery that BAE had obtained an email containing the groups' privileged legal advice.

The latest developments coincides with revelations that BAE spared no expense hiring private detectives to spy on peaceniks.
