With Bernard Madoff up for sentence tomorrow and likely to spend the rest of his life in the slammer, Reuters reports that his wife Ruth has come to a deal with prosecutors to forfeit her claim for $80 million of assets. Instead, she is left with a paltry $2.5 million and she has to find herself a new home.
Ruth Madoff feels she is just a victim. She recently told reporters that the press had "ruined" her life. Nothing to do with her psychopath husband, the poster boy of corporate greed, and his Ponzi scheme.
Of course, she didn't work or contribute any many to her lavish lifestyle. Where did she think the money was coming from?
