Siemens close to deal with the SEC

Looks like Siemens is close to doing a deal with the Securities and Exchange Commission with Der Spiegel reporting that the company is about to secure a settlement with the regulator.

This is the company that spent billions in bribes to secure lucrative overseas contracts. One thing for sure: if there is a settlement, it opens the way for this corrupt company to bid for work in the US. There would be plenty of firms in the US that would be underwhelmed.
