Sperm banking boom

Sperm banking boom

With the credit crunch, it's harder now for the banks to do business and make loans. But one type of banking business is booming.

Sperm banks are doing a roaring business, according to this report. There's been a huge increase in inquiries from potential donors and most of them say it's about money. At the Biogenetics site in Mountainside, New Jersey, men get paid $100 per sample of their liquid assets. Multiply that twice a week and someone can make $10,400 a year for doing next to no work.

According to this report, some can make as much as $5000 per donation. Easy money. No wonder there's been a 40% jump in inquiries.

But then, why stop at sperm.

As Leo Hickman points out in The Guardian , you can make good money now selling body parts and functions like bone marrow, breast milk, kidneys, hair and eggs.

Due to the shortage of egg and sperm donors around the world, people could make plenty of cash for little effort.
