The backdating list grows
The number of companies now implicated in the growing backdating scandal has hit 257, according to a report from Glass Lewis. That's more than double the number we've been reading about.

You can read the report here

According to Glass Lewis, these are the companies that have announced either internal reviews, or received Justice Department subpoenas or Securities and Exchange Commission inquiries.

The report groups the companies into three categories: 171 that have completed their internal investigations, 70 that have not completed them, and 16 that said they completed their investigation and didn't find any problems.
