Top 10 IT threat predictions for 2008

Some sobering reading from McAfee about this year's biggest IT disaster zones.
McAfee's Top 10 Threat Predictions for 2008 tells us to watch out for botnets piggybacking on Storm Worm, the most versatile virus on record and which is constantly being updated to avoid detection. It also warns us that cyber criminals are now likely to target secondary targets or less popular sites, Because the top tier sites are now good at responding quickly, it's easier to attack a secondary target and then gain access to the top tier site through the back door. There are also warnings about a self-executing, instant-messaging worm and more attacks through VoIP.
So many targets! The most obvious ones would be online gaming and banking. Take care!
