Trust in business versus trust in government

Trust in business has jumped to 58 per cent but fewer people now trust Government, according to the latest Edelmen Trust Barometer.

That might have something to do with the war in iraqlinks and the low approval rating for President Bush.

Drill deeper into the report for some interesting findings.

Wikipedia, for example, is now rated as the second-most trusted source of information about a company by young adults in the United States, second only to business magazines but way above newspaper stories and TV news.

Still, trust in business goes only so far. People seem to have more faith in Wikipedia than they do in company web sites.
