The rich are different. Unlike the rest of the population, big US corporations and foreign owned corporations are getting out of paying tax, according to the latest Government Accountability Office report.
Go to Table 1 and you will see that two-thirds of US corporations paid no tax between 1998 and 2005. And that number has been escalating.
A report like this sends a very clear message that something needs to be done about transfer pricing.
