Yesterday, I did a blog entry speculating whether fraud king Bernard Madoff's transfer from his cell to prison hospital was related to previous news reports that he had cancer.

Now we reports that Madoff may have been sent to hospital because he was assaulted by other prisoners. His facial fractures, broken ribs and collapsed lung might point to that, according to the reports. Still, that may not be the case with the US Bureau of Prisons claiming he is in hospital because of hypertension and dizziness.

Whatever happened, Madoff is not in a good space although no doubt his investors would say he's getting what he deserves.
